Conntac Year in review 2020

A turbulent and challenging year is coming to an end. Even though each of us was confronted with some changes and new circumstances due to the Corona pandemic, we at Conntac look back on an overall successful, positive and above all healthy year. Whether new partners, new team members or new, exciting opportunities – we have not only developed enormously, but have grown beyond ourselves.

In this article we have summarised in which areas this happened and what else we were able to experience and achieve:

New office for Conntac

We used the first months of the year to more than double our office space. We have added a new meeting room, an open-plan office and even our own small kitchen with our so-called “Yellow Box”. The latter is the small anteroom of the kitchen with table and benches, which we use for quick meetings with a nice, hot cup of coffee. More in our blog post “More space in the Conntac office”.

We also had some very special guests in our office this summer. As part of the Gründerland Bayern bus tour, we were introduced as a technology start-up from Augsburg and allowed to give an insight into our office and our work. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the exciting exchange and the great opportunity to present ourselves as a company.

Growing Team

Not only have our premises grown, but so has our team. Conntac now has a total of 19 team members and we will continue to grow in the new year. Conntac wins new partners

This year we have gained two new partners, htp and Vodafone. With the Mein htp app the internet provider from Hanover now also offers its customers our intuitive self-service solution. With the GetConnected App customers of the internet provider Vodafone can use our self-service solution, for example, to set up their internet connection for the first time or to quickly share their Wi-Fi access.

We were also able to start a new product partnership with Service Ocean to complement our self-service solution with their appointment callback management.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our new and existing partners for the great cooperation and look forward to further exciting projects.

New markets for our self-service solution

Through our participation in programmes like the German Accelerator Next Step, we were given the opportunity to understand the Indian market and gain important first-hand insights. In several workshops, we were able to get to know the special features of this market and gathered important insights for our self-service solution.

The Conntac Self-Service Solution: New Functions

At the end of the year, we can proudly look back on our core at Conntac, because a lot has happened in the apps and dashboard of our self-service solution. Numerous new functions have been added that have made our solution even more intuitive and all-round better. One example of this is the “Share Wi-Fi” function, with which you can easily share your home Internet access with your guests. In any case, stay tuned for what we have planned for next year.

We hereby bid farewell to this turbulent and exciting year 2020 and wish all those who have accompanied us through this year a happy, relaxing and above all healthy holiday season.
